Untangling from the Past
A note from Lianna:
You might find yourself caught in cycles of overthinking: replaying conversations, questioning decisions, or feeling unable to quiet your mind. You may be navigating conscious sobriety, working to create new family patterns outside of addiction, or carrying the emotional weight of chronic illness or medical trauma. These experiences can feel isolating, exhausting, and hard to explain to others.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan, bringing a playful, developmentally attuned approach when working with younger clients. I have specialized experience supporting individuals impacted by substance use, including those in recovery and adult children of alcoholics or addicts. We’ll explore family dynamics, identity, boundaries, and emotional resilience with care and honesty.
I also have a strong interest in working with anxiety, chronic worry, and overthinking. Many clients describe feeling stuck in their heads: constantly analyzing, planning, or second-guessing themselves. In our work, we gently untangle these patterns, cultivate self-compassion, and develop grounding skills that support clarity, confidence, and trust in your decisions.
Additionally, I am passionate about supporting individuals living with chronic pain or navigating medical trauma. I understand how overwhelming and lonely these experiences can be. My approach integrates trauma-informed care with practical tools to help restore a sense of agency, reconnect with your body, and foster hope.
There’s room here for your questions, your pauses, and your healing. I’m here with openness, compassion, and a commitment to supporting your growth, one step at a time.
